We are looking for a HSE Manager located in Dubai, UAE. This is your opportunity to join a global technology company, driving energy innovation for a balanced planet. You will provide the essential leadership, direction, alignment and support to the SLB Production Chemical business units in MENA on Safety, Health and Environment activities to help promote our SLB Safe culture.

What You Will Do:
Partner with regional management in the planning, development, and implementation of HSE strategies, initiatives and programs in alignment with business goals promoting a positive safety culture.
Lead in the design, development and review process of the regional HSE policies, standards, procedures, forms, and best industry practices to align with the SLB Safety Management System.
Provide HSE support for customer pre-qualifications, bids, tenders and questionnaires regarding HSE performance, policies and programs ensuring they are completed in a timely manner.
Manage the inspection of regional facilities to detect existing or potential incident and health hazards, determine corrective or preventative measures where indicated, and follow up to ensure measures have been implemented and completed.
Support the areas facility management in their Emergency Response and Crisis Management Plan (CMP) arrangements.
Facilitate and monitor employee training in HSE systems and policies effectively managing compliance of HSE training plans and programs and delivery of training.
Ensure that HSE incidents and significant near misses are communicated appropriately and investigated with corrective actions monitored and tracked to closure.
Provide support to HSE Council / Steering committee meetings and to the Safety Champion Network.
Liaise with regulatory, company, and customer sources to identify, document, and facilitate compliance with legal, business and customer requirements.
Ensure HSE metrics, trends and performance measurements are communicated and made available to management, employees, and customers.
Coordinate HSE programs, activities and best practices across regional business units to create harmonization and common methodologies.
Act as company interface with clients throughout the region regarding HSE activities.
Organize, Lead, and conduct external/internal audits for Management Systems (ISO 9001:2015, ISO:45001, ISO:14001) Ensuring compliance with the requirements necessary to maintain the company's certification.
Routinely evaluate the status of HSE systems, performance and compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, industry best practices through site visits, audits, and other assessment tools.
Facilitate two-way communication of HSE expectations and needs throughout the area of responsibility.
Where appropriate, direct the preparation or review of environmental or safety permits applications, incident reports, and other required reporting.
Develop annual budget and exercise appropriate oversight and control of expenses.
Other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
NEBOSH Diploma in OSH or equivalent.
10 years plus relevant work experience in the field of HSE.
Minimum two years in supervisory responsibility
Ability to travel up to 30%.
English language skills.
Ability to travel overnight for business
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in science, Engineering or other technical specialty related to safety, health and environmental practice.
Experience in managing teams located in various geographies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience interfacing with senior management.
Ability to travel as required throughout the region.
Prior experience that demonstrates a strong work ethic and ability to multitask.
ISO 9001 and or ISO 45001 lead auditor certification.
