Senior professional with 7+ years of international experience across Europe and the Middle East, specializing in water resource management, EIA, and climate-adaptation strategies. Ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder environments ranging from International Clients, Government Authorities to major infrastructure clients, bridging the gap between technical engineering, regulatory compliance, and high-level sustainability objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver environmental and water-related studies for infrastructure and marine projects, including Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs), permitting support, and environmental management strategies.
- Develop sustainability and water-resource management frameworks aligned with regulatory and client requirements across project lifecycles.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams (engineering, planning, environmental, and external stakeholders) to ensure timely and high-quality technical deliverables.
- Provide technical input on environmental risk, mitigation measures, and compliance for coastal, infrastructure, and industrial developments.
- Manage stakeholder engagement with authorities, clients, and partner organizations, ensuring alignment on environmental approvals and project objectives.
- Support business development through technical proposals, client engagement, and identification of sustainability-driven opportunities.
- Contribute to internal capability development in environmental modelling, policy compliance, and sustainability integration across projects.
- Mentor junior staff and support knowledge sharing in environmental engineering, sustainability practices, and water management.
- Ensure quality assurance and adherence to company standards in environmental documentation and reporting.
Qualifications:
- MSc in Environmental and Water Engineering or related discipline.
- 7+ years of professional experience in environmental engineering, water resources, and sustainability for infrastructure and development projects.
- Demonstrated experience in Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), environmental permitting, and regulatory compliance.
- Proven track record working on international projects with multidisciplinary teams and diverse stakeholders (government, consultants, NGOs, and international agencies).
- Experience in sustainability strategies, climate adaptation, and water-resource management.
- Strong project management and coordination skills, including leading teams and managing deliverables.
- Knowledge of environmental policies, standards, and best practices relevant to infrastructure and water projects.
- Proficiency in technical reporting, stakeholder engagement, and client coordination.
- Familiarity with GIS, environmental analysis tools, and sustainability reporting frameworks is advantageous.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are an asset.
