Summary The Legal and Compliance ( L&C ) team at KAYALI sits at the heart of the brand’s growth journey: Shaping structure around creativity, embedding compliance into operations, and building protection around innovation.
Working closely with teams across social, product development, marketing, sales, operations, finance, and global offices, L&C ensures that every fragrance, partnership, campaign, and market entry is supported by a strong legal and regulatory foundation.
By integrating compliance into processes, launches, and strategic decisions, the team safeguards KAYALI’s intellectual property, commercial interests, reputation, and long-term shareholder vision, enabling the brand to scale globally with confidence, integrity, and operational excellence.
We are looking for a Paralegal with relevant experience, as summarised below, who finds satisfaction and even a bit of fun in legal and compliance work and enjoys contributing to a positive, collaborative team environment.
  Essential Duties and Responsibilities ·       Maintaining and improving legal systems, compliance trackers, and contract management tools to ensure all agreements, IP records, corporate licences, board papers, and other documents are accurate, organised, audit-ready, and easy to access ·       Supporting L&C initiatives across the business, including training sessions, policy updates, vendor onboarding, and process improvements ·       Providing administrative support to department lawyers and managing matters with tight deadlines to ensure timely completion ·       Supporting Intellectual Property matters, including trademark filings, renewals, monitoring, and enforcement actions to protect KAYALI’s name, product names, packaging, and brand assets worldwide ·       Managing corporate and statutory requirements across the UAE and international entities, working closely with global offices, affiliates, and external counsel ·       Acting as the main point of contact for all legal documentation support, coordinating between internal teams (Social, Marketing, Operations, Sales, Product, and Finance) and external counsel to ensure documents are properly provided, managed, aligned with legal and compliance requirements, and delivered in line with business objectives.
·       Conducting legal and compliance research to support ongoing legal and compliance matters across different jurisdictions ·       Supporting brand protection, dispute management, and regulatory inquiries in coordination with department lawyers and external counsels ·       Tracking legal budgets and external counsel spend, and managing vendor onboarding, purchase orders, and related administrative processes independently and in coordination with the Finance team ·       Assisting with the improvement of internal templates, compliance frameworks, training materials, and governance processes as the brand grows globally ·       Ensuring all documentation, even in small details, meets KAYALI’s legal, compliance, and brand standards Premium Medical/Dental/Vision coverage Find your Magic Days Volunteer Day Birthday Leave Egg Freezing Benefits Employee discounts on all Kayali products Quarterly product gifting Kayali is committed to building diverse and inclusive teams and upholding an equal employment workplace that is free from discrimination.

·       Bachelor’s degree in law or a related field from a recognised university, or equivalent practical experience ·       Around 5 years of experience in a paralegal, coordination, or legal support role within a law firm, corporate environment, luxury brand, or multinational company ·       Comfortable working with legal and compliance processes, with the ability to learn and navigate them confidently ·       Experience managing budgets, coordinating vendor onboarding, and handling PO or administrative workflows ·       Familiarity supporting teams across multiple jurisdictions, including maintaining project trackers and shared databases ·       Exposure to corporate licence renewals, trademark filings and renewals, and coordinating with external counsel ·       Strong organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to balance several workstreams at once ·       A proactive, solutions-oriented approach to problem‑solving ·       Fluency in English ·       High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
