Role Description
The Project HSE Manager (Construction) will oversee and manage all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) aspects of construction projects to ensure compliance with standards, regulations, and organizational policies. Responsibilities include developing and implementing safety standards, conducting risk assessments, leading safety training sessions, and ensuring workplace safety. The individual will monitor and report on HSE performance, investigate incidents, and provide recommendations for preventive measures. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Abu Dhabi.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge and expertise in Environment Health and Safety (EHS) and Occupational Health Certification in NEBOSH or equivalent professional safety qualification Experience in Project Management with the ability to oversee safety compliance across multiple aspects of construction projects Proficiency in conducting Training sessions related to HSE practices Proven track record of implementing and managing safety systems in construction environments Bachelor's degree in Safety, Engineering, or a related field is preferred Minimum of 15 years of experience in HSE management within the construction industry Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to promote a culture of safety
