Work DescriptionPrimary Duties
- Conduct comprehensive eye exams and diagnostic tests
- Diagnose and treat eye diseases such as glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration
- Perform eye surgeries, including LASIK, cataract removal, and other procedures
- Prescribe corrective lenses and medications
- Monitor patients’ conditions and follow up with treatment plans
- Provide consultation and referrals as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Educate patients on eye health and preventive care
Secondary Process
- Collaborate with clinical staff and support teams
Skills Required
- Medical degree with specialization in Ophthalmology
- Valid medical license to practice
- Proven experience in diagnosing and treating eye conditions
- Surgical skills and familiarity with ophthalmic equipment
- Strong attention to detail and patient-care ethics
- Excellent communication and decision-making skills
