Job Details


JOB PURPOSE



Responsible for service, repair and maintenance activities of all electrical systems and equipment including Instrumentation & Control Systems.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES



• Carry out the service, repair and maintenance activities of all electrical systems and equipment including Instrumentation & Control Systems in the Plant, Equipment and Buildings at the multi product depot
and Military Depot in Al Ain region, in accordance with corporate, engineering, and technical standards and safety and environmental requirements.
• Conduct regular routine and scheduled inspection and maintenance of all instruments, maintain, record, and monitor condition continually.
• Carry out maintenance of all electronics equipment, including checking, cleaning, and testing instrumentation equipment; changing fuses and lamps on control panels; checking and calibration of
various sensors, transmitters and control valves and recorders etc.; check and repair various laboratory instruments; troubleshoot PCBs, valves and displays and recalibrating equipment upon completion of the work.
• Carry out the instrumentation fault-finding and defect repair of electric, pneumatic, and microprocessorbased control and recording systems. This includes checking system changing Printed Circuit Boards
(PCBs), reloading programs on systems, repairing electronic cards in repair shop etc.
• Service all electric, pneumatic, and microprocessor-based control and recording systems as directed by the Electrical Supervisor.
• Complete the installation and operation of advanced testing equipment, ensuring that the equipment is functioning per prescribed industry standards.

• Implement and comply with all relevant functional policies, processes, systems, standards, procedures, to accomplish operational objectives.


Training
• Provide on-the-job Training to meet Competency Based Training programs for UAE Nationalization.



Tool Box
• Maintain all tools, safety gear and equipment provided by company safely and in working condition.
• Arrange for repair or replacement of any tools and safety gear that may not be in good working condition.



Time Management
• Carry out all maintenance jobs in line with assigned time standards.
• Inform the Maintenance Supervisor in case additional resources are required to carry out the job within the assigned time frame.



Innovation and Continuous Improvement
• Contribute to the identification of areas and opportunities for continuous improvement in the operating procedures, modification of functional processes, machinery or equipment.


Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability
• Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures & controls and applicable legislation and sustainability
guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC Code of Practices.
• Participate in Emergency Response duties as a team member.



Housekeeping
• Maintain the work environment clean and tidy before, during and after executing the job, in line with established standards of Hygiene and Housekeeping.



Reports
• Collect technical data from the field as required and provide inputs to prepare Section progress reportsfor Company Management.
• Provide input for the preparation of Method statements and initiate Near Miss reports


QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS



Minimum Qualification
• Technical Diploma or Secondary School Certificate with a vocational trade certificate in the relevant field.



Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
• 4 years of experience in Auto Maintenance in Fuel - Retail or Oil and Gas Industry.
