Role Purpose: 


The Specialist, HC Digital (Business Solutions & Automation) is responsible for designing, governing, and advancing Human Capital analytics and data products that enable evidence‑based decision‑making across the organization.
This role represents Human Capital as a data and analytics authority, acting as the bridge between HR, business stakeholders, and Group Digital to deliver scalable, governed, and insight‑driven analytical solutions.


The role focuses on Power BI analytics, HR data modeling, SAP data structures, and AI‑enabled insights, ensuring high‑quality, trusted HC data products that support strategic and operational outcomes.


Key Accountabilities


1. Human Capital Analytics & Power BI Delivery


  • Design, develop, deploy, and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards and reports for Human Capital use cases.
  • Translate business and HC requirements into analytical data models, measures, and visual narratives.
  • Deliver actionable insights across workforce, organization, talent, performance, and productivity domains.
  • Ensure reports are performance‑optimized, scalable, and user‑friendly.

2. Data Modelling & HR Data Architecture


  • Build and manage robust analytical data models aligned to HR and SAP data structures.
  • Integrate and harmonize large‑scale HC data from multiple internal and external sources.
  • Apply best practices in star schema, semantic modelling, and metric standardization.
  • Contribute to the design of HC analytical data marts aligned to enterprise data strategy.

3. Data Governance & Quality Management


  • Govern Power BI datasets, data marts, and access models, ensuring compliance with enterprise data governance standards.
  • Define and enforce data quality rules, validation checks, and reconciliation processes.
  • Lead and support data quality improvement initiatives across HC datasets.
  • Ensure data security, role‑based access, and proper usage of sensitive HC information.

4. Business & Stakeholder Interface


  • Act as the analytics liaison between Human Capital, business stakeholders, and Group Digital teams.
  • Engage stakeholders to interpret insights, explain trends, and support data‑driven decisions.
  • Manage expectations, priorities, and dependencies across multiple HC analytics initiatives.
  • Support leadership with deep analytical interpretation and scenario‑based insights.

5. Advanced Analytics, Data Science & AI Enablement


  • Apply data science techniques to identify patterns, risks, and opportunities in HC data.
  • Prepare and structure HC datasets for AI / GPT‑based interpretation and insight generation.
  • Enable automated insights, narratives, and predictive indicators where applicable.
  • Support experimentation with AI‑driven workforce intelligence and decision support.

6. Strategy & Continuous Improvement


  • Contribute to the HC digital and analytics strategy, ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities.
  • Identify opportunities to standardize, automate, and scale HC analytics.
  • Stay current with Power BI, analytics, and AI advancements and translate them into practical HC use cases.
  • Promote analytics literacy and data‑driven culture within Human Capital.

Key Skills & Competencies


Technical & Analytical


  • Advanced Power BI development (DAX, Power Query, performance optimization).
  • Strong experience in data modelling and semantic layer design.
  • Solid understanding of HR datasets and SAP HR / SuccessFactors data structures.
  • Experience managing large, complex Human Capital datasets.
  • Knowledge of data marts, datasets governance, and analytics access models.
  • Exposure to data science, predictive analytics, and AI/GPT data consumption.

  • Strong analytical thinking and insight interpretation skills.
  • Ability to convert complex data into clear business narratives.
  • Effective stakeholder and interface management across HR, business, and IT.
  • High attention to data quality, accuracy, and trust.

Experience & Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in analytics, BI, or HC digital roles, preferably within large or complex organizations.
  • Hands‑on experience with HR analytics and SAP‑based HR data is essential.
  • Experience supporting AI‑enabled analytics or automated insights is a strong advantage.
