About the Role
The Shopper Marketing Manager is responsible for driving the Customer Marketing budget and executing regional plans, with a primary focus on the Levant. This role centers on the Personal Care categories—Feminine Hygiene, Incontinence, Beauty Care, and Baby Care—represented by the brands Nana, TENA, Demak’up, and Libero. The position reports to the Customer Marketing Manager for the Middle East and Africa, who is also based in Dubai.
What You Will Do
Partner with key distributors to drive brand plans and on the ground execution.
Develop and lead implementation of customer and channel specific shopper activation plans, including promotion, communication to customers and shoppers, and input into account planning.
Support the implementation of the merchandising standards to support category and brand sales growth.
Ensure a robust ROI model is being implemented, incl. setting KPIs for relevant dimensions (e.g. categories, channels, customers and/or promotions), evaluated and followed up with corrective actions.
Provide insight from local markets regarding retailer and shopper dimension to provide input to the commercial strategy.
Plan and manage related budgets.
Contribute to best practice sharing, Essity international networks and projects.
Analyse available data and identifies key learnings, best practices, opportunities or threats for key customers.
Grow E-commerce and implement successful online activations.
Collaborate with customer marketing colleagues (GCC/KSA and Africa) in seeking synergies.
Who You Are
Must have a university degree, with a specialization in Economics or Marketing.
Must have minimum 5 years' experience in Customer Marketing / Sales / Marketing, within FMCG and in the Middle East.
Must be fluent in English and Arabic.
Must have experience working with different nationalities and cross-functional teams.
Must have the ability and readiness to travel across Middle East – when permitted.
Must have the capability to work effectively within a cross-functional matrix organization and project environment.
Must have strong problem solving, analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to draw conclusions based on analyses.
Must have a clear understanding of commercial situations and the knowledge and ability to apply effective actions.
