About Cognium Cognium is building the intelligence engine inside a wealth manager’s and private bank’s technology stack. With our beachhead product, we help Relationship Managers surface the right investment ideas, match them to the right clients, monitor portfolios continuously, and communicate recommendations at near-zero incremental cost. An intelligence layer that allows a 10-person wealth team to operate like a 50-person one. Founded by operators with $50B+ in institutional investment experience. Backed by Tier-1 investors. Currently working with private banks in the GCC and internationally on early deployments.
The Opportunity This is our first dedicated hire for the commercial sales team. You will work directly with the founding team to convert private banks and wealth managers into long-term enterprise customers. This is a true full-cycle enterprise role, from target account strategy to signed contract, with meaningful influence over positioning, and go-to-market design. Initial focus: GCC (DIFC, ADGM, QFC, KAFD) We are targeting enterprise deployments with six-figure ACVs and expansion potential across advisory teams and geographies.
What You’ll Do Build and execute a focused account strategy across private banks, external asset managers, and wealth platforms Map decision-makers across COO, CIO, Head of Wealth, Head of Advisory, and Digital leadership Drive outbound engagement leveraging direct outreach, industry relationships, and investor network introductions Lead structured discovery conversations to understand operational workflows, RM productivity constraints, compliance considerations, and technology architecture Run high-level commercial discussions and co-lead product demonstrations alongside founders Navigate multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles (procurement, compliance, IT security, legal) over 3–6 months Multi-thread effectively. Establish credibility across 3–5 stakeholders within each account Shape pilot structures. Coordinate with internal teams on commercial terms, and enterprise agreements through to close Support early client onboarding and identify expansion opportunities Build disciplined CRM processes in Hub Spot and contribute to the company’s enterprise sales playbook
What We’re Looking For 6–10 years of B2B enterprise sales experience with a track record of closing complex deals Direct experience selling into private banks, asset managers, or wealth management platforms strongly preferred Demonstrated ability to build pipeline from scratch, not reliant solely on inbound or marketing-driven leads Strong understanding of private banking operations and advisory workflows Comfortable engaging C-suite stakeholders in strategic discussions around portfolio management, operational leverage, and regulatory environments Experience managing long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles in regulated industries Structured, self-directed, and comfortable operating in an early-stage environment GCC financial ecosystem experience (DIFC/ADGM/QFC/KAFD) strongly preferred
Good to have Existing relationships within private banking or wealth management Familiarity with Temenos, Avaloq, Sim Corp, or similar core systems Experience selling AI, analytics, or workflow automation solutions Arabic language skills Experience with Salesloft, Apollo, or similar outbound tooling Compensation & Upside Competitive base salary Uncapped performance-based commission aligned to enterprise ACV Early-stage equity incentive plan Direct shaping and execution of GTM strategy and long-term commercial structure
