Job Purpose:


The job holder will be responsible to manage the development process of projects to ensure that the business plan objectives such as launch schedule, design quality and budget are achieved


Key Accountabilities:


  • Operate within the stipulated framework to maintain legal and ethical standards and ensure compliance with required DHRE regulatory framework and corporate governance. 


  • Review architectural submissions for 'look and feel' items within the delivery stage, protect the design intent, and ensure that purchasers receive what they have purchased to ensure alignment with the design intent. 


  • Review design submissions for technical and commercial compliance during the design stage, and lead value engineering exercises to achieve target budgets to ensure that all design submissions comply with technical and commercial requirements. 


  • Manage all aspects of the development process to ensure that all technical procedures meet approved corporate operational objectives. 


  • Review the preparation of project-specific development and design briefs that reflect project intent and objectives. 


  • Manage consultants and ensure that risks are mitigated, and senior management is informed of any changes. 


  • Provide regular feedback on project status, risks and approved feasibility to ensure that project goals are being met. 


  • Manage stakeholder relationships at all levels, including liaising with stakeholder partners and key business affiliates. 


Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:


  • Bachelors Degree in Architecture/ Engineering/ Real Estate Development; Master’s degree preferred.


  • Excellent knowledge of real estate development processes, regulations, and industry standards


Minimum Experience (number of years):


  • Min. 4-6 years’ experience in a real estate / project management managing designs •


  • Experience managing design teams across various project phases (concept, development, implementation) 


  • Experience working with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure design integration within the project lifecycle


Job Specific Skills:


  • Well versed in Ms. Office suite and AutoCAD software


  • Project management skills including planning, scheduling, and risk management.


  • Ability to manage project budgets, cash flow, and financial statements. 


  • Strategic thinking and the ability to develop and implement business plans and strategies. 


  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams of diverse professionals.


  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 


  • Ability to build relationships and manage stakeholder expectations. 


  • Attention to detail with the ability to review and analyze technical and financial documents.


  • Negotiation skills with the ability to manage contracts and agreements.


  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
