About the Role






The Assistant Vice President, Digital Marketing & Loyalty will spearhead Shangri-La’s digital operations, performance marketing, and loyalty strategy across the MEIA region.




This dynamic leadership role involves driving innovative digital strategies and enhancing customer engagement through loyalty initiatives and targeted digital campaigns.This individual demonstrates the ability to translate data from multiple sources into clear, actionable decisions and to communicate insights effectively to a wide range of stakeholders. They possess a strong understanding of local market nuances and traveller behaviours across the GCC, Europe, North America and India. With hands‑on experience in Sitecore and/or Adobe Analytics, they act as a strategic partner to global digital and loyalty teams while providing direction to internal design teams and external agencies, fostering a high‑accountability culture within a small team and maintaining full ownership of the departmental P&L.






Key Responsibilities 






Revenue & Commercial Growth







      • Multi-property digital revenue strategy developments

      • E-direct channel growth (rooms + ancillary)

      • Budget planning & portfolio-level investment allocation

      • Hotel-level P&L literacy




Multi-Market Strategy and Intelligence







      • Cultural nuance adaptation in messaging and media selection

      • Luxury traveller behaviour segmentation on digital channels




Performance Marketing and Analytics







      • Paid media governance (search, social, programmatic, metasearch)

      • CRO strategy (UX, landing pages, funnels)

      • A/B testing frameworks

      • Attribution & performance reporting design in Adobe Analytics




Agency and Graphic Designer Management







      • Ability to develop clear briefs to the agency and graphic design team

      • Media performance audits and regular creative refreshes




Team and Departmental Leadership







      • Knows how to lead and develop simultaneously

      • Is the go-to for all things digital within the region and wider organization






About You






The role requires a senior digital marketing leader with 10–15+ years of experience, including at least five years within a multi‑property or multi‑brand portfolio environment, ideally gained in luxury, lifestyle, or other high‑value consumer sectors. The successful candidate will bring strong commercial acumen with a clear revenue‑driven mindset rather than a purely brand or PR focus, and will be comfortable presenting to C‑suite executives and ownership groups. Experience operating across at least two major global markets is essential, with a strong preference for exposure to the GCC alongside Europe and/or the US.
