Job Purpose

The successful candidate will support the management and validation of aircraft configuration and modification records to ensure full compliance with regulatory and company requirements. The role assists engineering teams in maintaining configuration integrity, supporting continuous airworthiness, and enabling cost-effective fleet operations.  The position also supports aircraft induction activities, ensuring that aircraft configuration, modification status, and technical records meet regulatory and company requirements prior to entry into service.



In addition, the role acts as a liaison between internal departments and external providers on matters related to aircraft inductions and Management Information System (MIS) projects, ensuring effective coordination and the successful delivery of assigned initiatives.




Key Result Responsibilities
  • Support the effective management, validation, and control of aircraft configuration and modification records, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and manufacturer standards.
  • Prepare agendas, coordinate stakeholders, and conduct weekly Airworthiness Directive and Operational Directive meetings, as well as quarterly Modification Committee meetings.
  • Ensure systematic tracking, monitoring, and timely implementation of both mandatory and non-mandatory documents, directives, and bulletins for compliance.
  • Review, monitor, and ensure adherence to bi-weekly Airworthiness Directive reports issued by Regulatory Authorities
  • Track applicability, evaluate impact on fleet operations, and support engineering teams in ensuring compliance within approved timelines.
  • Act as a technical interface between the Engineering Department, Aircraft Acquisition team, and Aircraft Lessors for technical specification comparisons and modification requirements.
  • Provide guidance to the acquisition team on engineering requirements and configuration compliance for leased aircraft, highlighting gaps, risks, or necessary adjustments.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional internal departments to review, validate, and finalize technical documentation required for the induction of leased aircraft, ensuring smooth entry into service with accurate configuration records.
  • Serve as a liaison between Engineering and the MIS/AMOS Team for requirements related to existing and new configuration management modules.
  • Provide input on enhancements, validate data integrity, and ensure system functionality supports effective fleet configuration control.

Qualifications (Academic, training, languages)
  • Bachelor's degree in Aircraft Engineering/ Electro-Mechanical/Aeronautical or equivalent (LAE); alternately a diploma or certificate in a relating field from a recognized university or institution combined with needed experience.
  • Strong understanding of Aircraft induction process
  • Very good understanding of aircrafts planning/maintenance systems and techniques
  • Familiar with rules and regulations of Civil Aviation Authorities, preferably GCAA pertaining to Engineering Maintenance, policies, procedures, manuals.
  • Can demonstrate a working knowledge of EASA part 145, part 21 and sub part “M” requirements
  • Capable of measuring performance against regulations, contracts and SLAs of extreme technical nature.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Project Management, Cost Control, Compliance and Quality Assurance trainings are added value
  • Fluent in English Language
  • Hands-on aircrafts airworthiness programs requirements and regulations, such as CAMO (Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization).

Work Experience
  • 5+ years’ of collective experience in the Aviation industry; On the Job Training (OJT) or post university time spent at an Airline company as a Trainee or in a similar capacity shall be counted for as part of the experience.
  • Experience and knowledge of Revieing AD & SB.
  • Experience & Knowledge of Airbus ‘Single Aisle’ 320 aircraft systems is desirable
  • Experienced in Aircraft Maintenance Control Systems (AMOS) systems
