We are looking for an Electrical Engineer for one of our clients with the following details:

Location: UAE

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Duration: 3 years

Qualification and Experience Required:

• 8–10 years, including 3+ years on BIM-enabled projects. Aviation project experience preferred.


• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.


• UAE Society of Engineers; Abu Dhabi engineering license or eligibility mandatory. Knowledge


• UAE authority requirements (DEWA, ADDC, SEWA, GCAA, Civil Defense).


• International standards: British, NFPA, IEC, IATA ADRM, ICAO Annexes.


• Fire & Life Safety, sustainable design integration.

Software Skills

• Revit (BIM), AutoCAD, Navisworks.


• Electrical simulation and load analysis tools (ETAP, Dialux, etc.).


• AI-driven electrical design tools (Autodesk Forma, Spacemaker, TestFit).


• Collaboration platforms: BIM 360, Asite, Primavera Cloud.


• Familiarity with digital twin systems for asset lifecycle management.

Soft Skills

• Effective English communication (written & spoken).


• Adaptability, problem-solving, and collaboration across teams.

Key Responsibilities

Site Supervision

• Review, approve, and process all electrical shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and ITPs.


• Monitor and supervise electrical works to ensure compliance with contract, codes, and safety requirements.


• Conduct scheduled inspections and provide accurate comments on electrical works.


• Ensure contractor performance meets approved standards and procedures.


• Conduct regular site walkthroughs and inspections.


• Support the Project Manager in preparing monthly status reports.


• Conduct snagging and re-snagging of completed works.


• Approve as-built drawings and O&M manuals.


• Assist in testing, commissioning, and authority handovers.

Design Stage

• Deliver electrical design from concept through completion using Revit (BIM), AutoCAD, and AI-powered design tools.


• Ensure compliance with UAE authority codes (DEWA, ADDC, SEWA, SEC), IATA ADRM, and ICAO Annexes.


• Prepare calculations, drawings, and reports for lighting, power distribution, fire alarm, and emergency systems.


• Integrate sustainable and energy-efficient solutions in line with Estidama, LEED, or equivalent frameworks.


• Support cost estimates and BoQ preparation in collaboration with QS.

Health & Safety

• Ensure compliance with the project’s HSE plan.


• Coordinate with Senior HSE Consultant to align electrical design and works with safety standards.
