As we continue to expand, we are looking for a qualified and experienced HSE Officer to join our HSE team.
As a HSE Officer one has to ensure the effective implementation of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures, and practices at the construction project site, complying with UAE regulatory requirements, client HSE expectations, and company standards to achieve zero incidents and promote a strong safety culture   Key Accountabilities: 1.
     Site Safety Implementation Ensure the site-specific HSE Plan is fully implemented and maintained across all construction activities.
Monitor and verify the application of safe work practices and enforce the implementation of safe work practices.
2.     Inspections and Compliance Monitoring Conduct daily site inspections, audits, and safety observations to identify unsafe acts and conditions.
Coordinate corrective actions and verify closure of safety issues.
3.     Risk Assessment and Permit to Work Support preparation and review of Method Statements, Risk Assessments (MSRA/JHA), and Permit to Work systems.
Ensure high-risk activities have proper controls in place before execution.
4.     Incident Reporting and Investigation Conduct initial reporting, investigation, and documentation of incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
Support root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
5.     Training and Awareness Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and job-specific safety briefings.
Maintain training attendance logs and verify workforce understanding of safety requirements.
6.     Documentation and Reporting Maintain accurate HSE records, including inspections, inductions, PTWs, and incident logs.
Submit weekly and monthly HSE reports as per schedule.
7.     Stakeholder Engagement Collaborate with site teams, subcontractors, and HSE personnel to promote a safe working environment.
Participate in internal and client safety meetings.

  Qualifications, Experiences, Core Competencies Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering or related discipline Level 6 Qualification in OHS ISO 45001:2018 Lead Auditor Membership – Full membership CSP, Cert.
IOSH, MIIRSM etc Minimum Experience (number of years): Minimum of 7-10Years of experience in HSE role within construction projects as principal contractor in UAE or GCC handling High rise or complex civil projects Technical Skills Good knowledge of DMCOP, DDA HSE Guidelines Professional level skill on Auditing and Inspection and familiar with ISO 45001 guidelines Trained in First Aid, Fire Safety Advance level skill in construction risk management, development of SOP’s, accident investigation, multi-tier activity management Good Knowledge UAE fire life and safety code Good knowledge on emergency plans, emergency rescue, incident reporting Working knowledge on IT – MS office
