We’re looking for a Resilience Controls Oversight Manager to join our FCCS team. In this key role, you’ll help protect HSBC’s operations, customers, and reputation by providing independent oversight and challenging our resilience controls. You’ll ensure our control environment remains strong, effective, and adaptable to changing regulatory and business requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Independently review and challenge resilience controls and RCAs for IWPB, ensuring alignment with HSBC’s risk appetite and regulatory standards.
• Resolve highlighted DQ Exceptions in Helios related to Resilience Risk.
• Oversee Data Quality Issues flagged on Aurora and coordinate with relevant owners to drive resolution.
• Lead and coordinate control testing, thematic reviews, and assurance activities to evaluate control effectiveness.
• Build strong relationships with senior leaders, risk stewards, and control owners to drive remediation and share best practices.
• Prepare insightful reports and dashboards for senior management, highlighting key risks, trends, and actionable recommendations.
• Identify and implement enhancements to controls, processes, and frameworks, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Oversee resilience-related incidents, ensuring timely escalation and resolution.
• Uphold HSBC’s internal control standards, ensuring timely implementation of audit points and regulatory requirements.
• Deliver high-quality analysis and reporting to FCCS and IWPB stakeholders on time.
• Demonstrate improvements in reporting tools, processes, and ways of working.
• Receive positive feedback from FCCS leadership and key stakeholders.
• Consistently meet deadlines for key business processes.
• Improve stakeholder satisfaction scores.
• Work closely with senior management and collaborate across diverse teams.
• Play a key role in shaping and strengthening HSBC’s resilience and risk management frameworks.

Experience & Qualifications:
• Graduation degree is REQUIRED– to secure a UAE Visa and Work Permit
• A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field—or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong expertise in MI & Reporting, risk management, internal controls, or audit, ideally within banking or financial services.
• Hands-on experience with Financial Crime, Conduct, and Operational Risk.
• A proven track record of streamlining reporting processes and implementing industry’s best practices.
• Exceptional relationship management and influencing skills, with experience engaging senior executives.
• Familiarity with risk management tools such as Helios and ARAMIS.
• Outstanding communication, organizational, and planning abilities.
• The ability to work both independently and as part of global or virtual teams.
