Project Management and Supervision:

• Supervise and coordinate plumbing installations, maintenance, and repair work on assigned projects.
  


• Develop work schedules, assign tasks, and oversee daily activities to ensure timely project completion.
  


• Inspect work sites regularly to ensure compliance with safety standards, quality standards, and local plumbing codes
  

Team Leadership and Development:

• Lead, train, and mentor a team of plumbers, apprentices, and assistants.
  


• Provide guidance on complex plumbing tasks, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
  


• Ensure team members adhere to safety protocols and maintain a productive work environment.
  

Quality Control:

• Conduct quality checks on completed plumbing work to ensure it meets company standards and complies with local building codes.
  


• Identify and resolve issues in workmanship, materials, or methods that may affect project quality.
  

Safety and Compliance:

• Implement and enforce safety protocols in line with company policies and regulatory standards.
  


• Ensure all plumbing work complies with relevant codes, including building, health, and safety regulations.
  

Resource Management:

• Order and manage materials, tools, and equipment for plumbing activities, optimising resource usage and reducing waste.
  


• Track inventory and ensure that all materials and equipment are used efficiently.
  

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of project progress, materials used, labour hours, and any incidents.
  


• Prepare regular reports on project status, team performance, and any challenges encountered.
  

Coordination and Communication:

• Coordinate with other trade supervisors and contractors to avoid worksite conflicts and ensure a smooth workflow.
  


• Communicate effectively with the Project Manager, updating on project progress and any issues requiring attention.
  

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in plumbing is preferred.
  


• Experience:Minimum of 5 years of experience in plumbing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
  


• Certifications:Valid plumbing license; additional certifications in safety and project management are advantageous.
  


• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and regulations.
  


• Excellent leadership, team-building, and problem-solving skills.
