  • The role holder will manage all Logistics activities for the organization, including logistics planning, supplier negotiation, documentation.

  • Ensures communication is effectively done to production, purchase team and stores to promote a healthy supply chain of the company.

  • Overseeing and managing logistics operations.

  • Ensure timely execution of organizing and managing transportation and fleet.

  • Keep track of cost, productivity, data accuracy and time line for department deliverables.

  • Analysing and optimising logistical procedures.

  • Negotiate the price and contract with the supplier for the best rate for material.

  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors.

  • Select prospective vendors and negotiate a contract.

  • Evaluate vendors based on quality, time line, price, and process.

  • Schedule deliveries and ensure timely pickup.

  • Monitoring shipments, costs, time line, and productivity.

  • Ensuring department KPI's are met.

  • Prepare accurate reports for upper management



Requirements

  • At least 4-5 years of experience form manufacturing and construction industry.

  • Bachelor's degree with supply chain management or logistics or business management

  • Preferred Experience using procurement software and data bases.

  • Excellent negotiation skills.

  • Effective communication skills.
