Apt Resources is seeking an experienced F&B Controller for a dynamic role in the hospitality and food & beverage industry in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) .
As an F&B Controller, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of food and beverage operations within a hospitality environment, ensuring compliance with financial controls, and maximizing profitability in a fast-paced setting.
You will work closely with the F&B management team to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to enhance operational efficiency and support overall hospitality operations.
Responsibilities Monitor and control food and beverage costs, implement cost-saving strategies, and ensure compliance with budgetary guidelines.
Prepare and analyze financial reports related to F&B performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability.
Conduct regular audits of inventory, supplies, and equipment usage to maintain accurate financial records.
Collaborate with F&B managers and kitchen teams to optimize menu pricing and portion control.
Provide financial training and support to F&B staff to enhance their understanding of financial practices.
Identify opportunities for revenue enhancement and assist in developing strategies to achieve financial goals.
Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies regarding financial transactions and reporting.
Salary: USD 2,000 plus free Accommodation, Transport and Food allowance.
Proven experience as an F&B Controller or similar financial role in the hospitality or food and beverage industry.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.
g., CPA) are a plus.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
Proficiency in financial management software and advanced Excel skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Experience with inventory management and cost control in food and beverage operations.
Ability to work in a multinational environment, with strong adaptability to local cultures.
Must be willing to relocate or travel to the DRC as required.
