Black &
Grey HR is seeking an experienced Chinese-speaking Sales Manager – Air Freight
for one of our clients based in Dubai. The role will focus on driving air
freight sales, developing new business opportunities, and managing key customers
relationships within the freight forwarding sector.
The ideal
candidate will have strong experience in freight forwarding sales, a solid
understanding of air freight services, and the ability to generate and manage
logistics accounts. Experience working with Chinese clients or within the
broader Asian logistics market, along with familiarity with key air freight
trade lanes between China/Asia and the GCC region, will be important for
success in this role.
Key
Responsibilities
- Develop
and grow Air Freight business by acquiring new customers and expanding existing
accounts.
- Promote
the company’s air freight solutions including airport-to-airport, door-to-door,
and express cargo services.
- Identify
new business opportunities and convert leads into confirmed shipments.
- Prepare
and present competitive quotations and logistics solutions tailored to customer
requirements.
- Maintain
strong relationships with clients to ensure long-term partnerships and repeat
business.
- Work
closely with operations, pricing, and airline partners to ensure smooth
execution of shipments.
- Monitor
market trends, air freight rates, and competitor activities to identify
potential opportunities.
- Achieve
monthly and annual sales targets set by management.
- Maintain
accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales
pipeline.
Requirements- Fluent
in Chinese and English (both written and spoken).
- 5+
years of sales experience in the freight forwarding / logistics industry,
preferably in Air Freight.
- Expertise
in air freight services, cargo handling processes, and airline logistics
operations.
- Proven
track record in business development and client acquisition.
- Proven
experience working with Chinese clients or within the broader Asian logistics
market is essential for this role.
- Familiar with key air freight trade lanes between China / Asia and the GCC
region is highly important.
- Strong
communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability
to work independently and achieve sales targets in a competitive market.
