Role Purpose


The Senior Executive - Communications is responsible for crafting and executing impactful communication strategies that resonate with English-speaking audiences, effectively promoting DHCM’s communities and lifestyle offerings. This role will focus on building brand awareness, fostering community engagement, and managing media relations, ensuring consistent and compelling messaging across all English communication channels.


Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities


Strategic Content Creation & Dissemination: 
•    Develop and deliver high-quality, lifestyle-focused English content for diverse platforms (press releases, website, social media, newsletters, etc.), ensuring accuracy and brand alignment.
•    Craft compelling narratives that showcase DHCM’s unique community lifestyle and events, driving resident engagement.
•    Measure content performance and optimize strategies based on data-driven insights.
Proactive Media Relations & Engagement: 
•    Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with English-speaking media outlets and journalists, securing positive coverage for DHCM.
•    Proactively pitch lifestyle-related stories and manage media inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
•    Monitor and analyse media coverage, providing reports on effectiveness and identifying opportunities for enhancement.
Community Building & Outreach: 
•    Plan and craft communications for targeted community outreach initiatives for English-speaking residents, fostering a sense of belonging and community spirit.
•    Create communications for lifestyle events, workshops, award programmes and programs, ensuring seamless execution and positive resident experiences.
•    Gather resident feedback and leverage insights to improve community engagement strategies.
Digital & Internal Communications Management: 
•    Manage DHCM’s English social media presence and website creating engaging content and fostering online community interaction alongside the social media agency.
•    Develop and disseminate internal communications to English-speaking employees, ensuring alignment with marketing and communication initiatives.
•    Ensure consistent brand messaging and adherence to guidelines across all English communication channels.
Translation, Adaptation & Reporting: 
•    Translate and adapt communication materials into English, ensuring cultural sensitivity and accuracy.
•    Proofread and edit content, ensuring high-quality and error-free communication.
•    Track and report on communication campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
 


Knowledge & Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in communications, public relations, or marketing, with a strong focus on English language content and ideally within a lifestyle or community-focused environment
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English. 


  • Strong understanding of the English media landscape and cultural nuances. 


  • Demonstrated ability to create engaging, lifestyle-focused content for diverse platforms. 


  • Proven experience in media relations and community engagement. 


  • Strong organizational, project management, and time management skills. 


  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and social media management tools. 


  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
