Responsibilities:
Assist in operation, monitoring, and maintenance of all electrical systems onboard the Cutter Suction Dredger.
Perform routine watchkeeping duties and ensure safe functioning of generators, motors, and control panels.
Support troubleshooting and repair of electrical faults in dredging equipment and auxiliary systems.
Maintain proper records of electrical parameters, logs, and maintenance activities.
Ensure uninterrupted power supply for dredging operations and critical onboard systems.
Assist in maintenance of PLCs, automation systems, and instrumentation related to dredging operations.
Follow planned maintenance schedules and assist senior engineers in major repairs and overhauls.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, permit systems, and electrical isolation procedures.
Maintain inventory of electrical spares, tools, and consumables onboard.
Adhere to company policies, HSE guidelines, and support emergency response procedures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
5 years of relevant experience.
