ELECTROTECHNICAL Officer (ETO) in offshore WITH EXPERINCE ONBOARD DP 1/2/3 HEAVY LIFT, HEAVY CONSTRUCTION, DSV, PIPE LAY, CABLE LAY OR DRILLING VESSELS (DP TECHNICAL SUPERINTENDET to advise which experience is required during the selection process)
Responsibilities:
- Responsible to the Chief Engineer and DP Technical Superintendent for the safe and efficient operation of the vessels’ electrical, electronic and automation systems.
- Administrate the planned maintenance system for the electric, electronic and automation components of the vessel, including DP system (Dynamic Position system), integrated & automation system, navigation systems & power management system and all other electrical, electronic and automation system onboard assigned Vessel.
- Responsible to the Chief Engineer and DP Technical Superintendent on all related electrical, electronic and automation drawings and line plans.
- Carry out electrical, electronic and automation equipment’s inventory on daily/weekly/monthly basis, and issue requisitions to Chief Engineer and DP Technical Superintendent accordingly.
- Carry out daily routine checks and inspections on all electrical, electronic and automation equipment.
- Responsible for troubleshooting and repair of all electrical, electronic and automation equipment onboard assigned Vessel.
- Lead, Guide, Supervise and Manage the Team of Electrician’s – Marine and Electronic Technician’s – Marine onboard assigned Vessel.
- Compliance to NMDC HSE standards as deemed and required for his rank
Qualifications:
Minimum 05 years’ experience Sea-going Technician, of which 03 years with DP ETO License
