SearchPlus HR is collaborating with a prominent government hospital to recruit a dedicated Specialist Psychiatrist.
This critical role involves delivering comprehensive psychiatric services within a government healthcare setting, focusing on patient-centered care and community mental health improvement.
As a Specialist Psychiatrist at a government hospital, you will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with a diverse range of mental health disorders.
You will provide evidence-based treatments, including medication management and psychotherapy, while working closely with multidisciplinary teams to support patient recovery and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities Conduct psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and diagnostic testing for patients referred to the hospital.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs.
Prescribe and monitor psychiatric medications, adjusting treatments as necessary.
Provide therapeutic interventions, including individual and group therapy sessions.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals, social workers, and other support services to coordinate comprehensive care.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment plans in compliance with hospital protocols.
Participate in training, education, and supervision of junior medical staff and trainees.
Stay current with advancements in psychiatric research and apply best practices in clinical care.
Adhere to ethical and legal standards governing psychiatric practice in a governmental healthcare environment.
