Job Description

  • Data Input: Transfer data from source documents (paper or digital) into computer systems or databases.
  • Database Maintenance: Update, organize, and manage databases to ensure accuracy and up-to-date records.
  • Verification & Quality Control: Review data for errors or inaccuracies and make necessary corrections.
  • Data Backup: Perform regular backups to maintain data security and prevent information loss.
  • Information Retrieval: Sort, organize, and retrieve data for reporting purposes and handle confidential information when required.

 

Skills & Requirements

  • Typing Speed & Accuracy: High-speed, accurate touch typing.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and database software.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to identify errors and maintain data integrity.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent is typically required.
  • Organization: Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle large volumes of data efficiently.
