We are currently recruiting experienced Registered Nurses for a new state-of-the-art multi-specialty hospital located in Dubai Healthcare City Phase 2. This upcoming healthcare facility is designed to deliver world-class clinical services, advanced patient care, and cutting-edge medical technology.

Role Purpose:
The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centred nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans. The role ensures adherence to clinical standards, patient safety protocols, and regulatory requirements while supporting hospital operations and care delivery.
The Registered Nurse plays a key role in patient management, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation. The role also contributes to hospital setup, commissioning activities, and accreditation processes such as Joint Commission International (JCI), ensuring compliance with international healthcare standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care & Clinical Management
* Provide high-quality, patient-centred care through continuous assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans.
* Receive and orient patients upon admission to the unit.
* Monitor vital signs and patient condition, reporting any abnormalities to physicians.
* Administer medications, treatments, and therapeutic interventions as prescribed.
* Assist physicians during examinations and medical procedures.
* Respond to medical emergencies, including performing CPR when required.
* Accompany patients during transfers within the hospital (ICU, OR, Radiology, etc.).
Patient Safety & Infection Control
* Ensure correct patient identification and adherence to safety protocols.
* Follow strict infection control practices and proper waste management procedures.
* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within the unit.
* Ensure proper sterilization and disinfection of equipment.
* Administer controlled medications (including narcotics) as per policies.
Documentation & Reporting
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, charts, and medical histories.
* Record observations related to patients' physical and physiological conditions.
* Prepare shift reports, incident reports, and patient status updates.
* Ensure proper handover during shift changes.
Coordination & Communication
* Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and multidisciplinary teams.
* Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding treatment and care plans.
* Liaise with patient relations and other departments for coordinated care delivery.
* Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and families.
Operational Responsibilities
* Ensure availability of medications, supplies, and equipment in the unit.
* Maintain inventory of medicines, linen, and medical equipment.
* Ensure proper handling and dispatch of laboratory specimens.
* Report maintenance and facility issues to appropriate departments.
* Support hospital setup, commissioning, and accreditation initiatives.
Patient Education & Support
* Educate patients and families on treatment plans, procedures, and follow-up care.
* Provide discharge instructions and health education.
* Deliver compassionate end-of-life care and support patient families respectfully.
Qualifications
Work Experience
Minimum 10 years of overall nursing experience
At least 3-5 years of experience in Dubai or within the UAE healthcare system
Experience in hospital setup, commissioning, or expansion projects
Hands-on involvement in accreditation processes such as JCI or equivalent
Strong understanding of regulatory, licensing, and compliance requirements.
