Key Responsibilities – Neurology • Diagnose and manage neurological disorders, including stroke, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, and neuropathies • Provide acute management of neurological emergencies, including stroke and seizure disorders • Conduct detailed neurological examinations and clinical assessments • Interpret and utilise neurodiagnostic tests, including EEG, EMG, nerve conduction studies, and neuroimaging • Develop individualised treatment plans for patients with acute and chronic neurological conditions • Manage headaches, movement disorders, neurodegenerative diseases, and neuromuscular conditions • Collaborate with neurosurgeons, intensivists, physiotherapists, and rehabilitation teams for comprehensive patient care • Participate in stroke programs and multidisciplinary case discussions • Provide patient education and counselling regarding neurological conditions and long-term care • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and electronic medical records in compliance with UAE healthcare regulations • Participate in clinical audits, research activities, and quality improvement initiatives • Ensure adherence to international neurology guidelines and patient safety standards Qualifications & Board Recognition Applications are welcome from physicians holding recognised specialist qualifications such as: • American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology (Neurology) • UK CCT / MRCP / FRCP with Neurology training • Royal College Certification (Canada) • Australian Fellowship (FRACP – Neurology) • Arab Board in Neurology • DM / DNB / FCPS Neurology or equivalent recognised specialist qualification Candidates must meet eligibility requirements for DHA / DOH / MOH licensing.
