• Oversee and coordinate the activities of assigned Quality Control Inspectors, ensuring compliance with work programs and quality standards.
• Address and resolve minor issues within the scope of expertise and authority to ensure smooth site operations.
• Participate in regular client Quality Control meetings, providing feedback and insights to protect the Company’s position throughout the project lifecycle.
• Interface with internal departments to coordinate and clarify inspection activities, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
• Study project specifications and technical drawings to gain a comprehensive understanding of work requirements and expectations.
• Inspect work within the assigned area of responsibility to ensure compliance with the Quality Inspection Plan.
• Ensure all testing and measuring equipment is properly identified, calibrated, and suitable for use, with clear instructions available for operation and settings.
• Resolve on-site issues and prepare non-conformance reports for serious breaches, documenting circumstances and required corrective actions.
• Generate daily inspection reports, record activities, sign off completed work at designated hold points, and submit reports for proper documentation and safekeeping.
• Ensure timely issuance of inspection and testing quality records, verifying adequacy to demonstrate conformity of construction works.
• Maintain full compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards throughout all activities.
