We're seeking experienced Middle+ and Senior Backend Developers to join our full-time team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems that power our gaming platform and live services. The role requires strong technical expertise, experience with distributed systems, and the ability to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (frontend, client, game, Dev Ops). This position offers direct involvement in development: you will both design architecture and implement features that impact hundreds of thousands of users.
Location Requirement:Based in Abu Dhabi or willing to relocate after the probation period.
Responsibilities:Develop and maintain server-side applications using Python and Fast API;Design and optimize databases, work with SQL;Integrate with external services, microservices, and APIs;Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of services;Collaborate with Front-End developers for seamless frontend-backend integration;Implement analytics, telemetry, and event-driven systems to support live operations;Develop error handling, retry systems, and fault-tolerant services. Set up logging and analytical metrics systems;Participate in code reviews, architecture planning, and sprint estimation.
Requirements:4+ years of Python development experience;Deep knowledge of Fast API or similar frameworks, plus proficiency in at least one of: Go, Node.js (Type Script), Java, or Python;Experience with Postgre SQL/MySQL, NoSQL systems (Mongo DB, Redis, Dynamo DB);Understanding of distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and message brokers (Kafka, Rabbit MQ, SQS);Ability to work with Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and set up CI/CD pipelines;Strong grasp of RESTful API principles and implementation experience;Teamwork skills and ability to solve complex technical challenges under tight deadlines;Upper-intermediate English (B2+).
