We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Specialist with a minimum of 3 years of experience, preferably within the sports industry, to manage the sourcing and purchasing of goods and services. The role involves ensuring cost-effective procurement, maintaining supplier relationships, and supporting operational needs across sports programs and events.
Key Responsibilities:Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including sourcing, negotiation, and purchasing Identify and evaluate suppliers for sports equipment, uniforms, facilities, and services Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms to ensure cost efficiency and quality standards Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services Coordinate with internal teams (operations, coaches, events) to understand procurement needs Monitor inventory levels and ensure availability of required materials Maintain supplier database and evaluate vendor performance Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures Support budgeting and cost control initiatives Handle procurement documentation, reports, and audits
Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing Experience in the sports industry is preferred (sports equipment, events, facilities, etc.) Strong negotiation and supplier management skills Good understanding of procurement processes and contract management Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (Oracle experience is a plus) Strong organizational and communication skills
