Job Description:
Main Tasks:
• Focal person to manage operations task management system (FSI or similar);
• Work proficiently in Tadweer Bolisaty system in order to extract required data for analysis and feedback.
• Work proficiently with FSI or any task management system in order to extract required data for analysis and feedback.
• Responsible for uploading and maintaining the contracts in the FSI.
• Schedule and execute the collections and the services as per agreed timelines
• Fleet, fuel and route management.
• Monitoring the vehicles locations and operating IVMS.
• Evaluating the down time of the vehicles & utilizations
• Evaluating utilization of drivers.
• Evaluating the fuel consumptions of the vehicles.
• Tracking any abnormalities and troubleshooting accordingly.
• Optimize the collection services using the analytical tools and skills.
• Receive customers’ complaints from the customer service department and handle them as per VESE Customer Management Procedure.
• Work and communicate closely with the Workshop to understand progress of repairs and share the priorities of operations.
• Responsible for his/her scope of work data Analysis and KPIs development.
Ensure all vehicles have:
• Daily inspections carried out by drivers.
• Monthly inspection carried out in addition to inspections by workshop.
• All damage / safety issues reported to the Workshop & QHSE as soon as possible.
• Investigate any damage caused by drivers, including wearing parts (such as gearboxes and clutches caused by poor driving).
• Communicate with fellow operations teams to understand the required collections and mobilisations.
• Update the log sheets, registers and portals as necessary and without delays.
• Schedule jobs requested by customers using Bolisaty. Keep bolisaty upto date and organized.
• Follow company procedures in accidents/incidents and vehicle damage etc.
• Understand his/her role in the event of an emergency and participate in emergency drills and exercises.
• Manage schedules of drivers to ensure customer satisfaction, acceptable service levels (24 hours for on call service).
• Ensure quality control in coordination with the Quality department on the services rendered by Veolia.
• Ensure vehicles are available for PPM as per workshop schedule with 95% PPM achieved on time.
• Daily communication with colleagues in the commercial and operations teams.
• Minimize subcontractors to remain with the Budget.
• Plan one off jobs on allocated customer sites, in other words, site visit, mobilizing and demobilizing and keep record to assist invoicing.
• Plan mobilisations, including labor and drivers, ordering containers and equipment.
• Regularly review team size to ensure the number of employees matches contracts’ requirements and workload.
• Support HR in hiring new employees for his/her team by interviewing and assessing candidates.
• Plan subordinates' work schedule and leave/off days to agreed levels to ensure continuity of business, ensure employees take leave in line with UAE labor law and return from leave on time.
• Undertake inspections of subordinates. Follow up on the preventive and / or corrective actions identified during the inspections and monitor the timely closing of the actions.
• Diligently perform any other reasonable work or related tasks at the request of his/her manager.
Skill Requirements:
• Good knowledge of waste management practices and hazards.
• Valid UAE light vehicle driving license is a must.
• General knowledge of Environmental hazards and HSE principles.
• Knowledge of fleet management.
• Proficient in Bolisaty system.
• Proficient in FSI or any task management system.
• Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment.
• Maximum flexibility due to the nature of work.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and conflict handling skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Hindi/ Urdu is a must.
• Good command of Arabic is an advantage.
• Able to transfer knowledge to colleagues, interns and students.
• Ensure proper record keeping.
• Communicate accurately, correctly, timely, effectively and in an appropriate manner using email, documentation and verbally
• Excellent Proficiency in Google workplace specially (sheets, docs and slides).
• Good Proficiency in data analytical tools i.e. looker studio, power BI.
Qualification:
• Hold a relevant educational qualification from a well recognized and reputable academic institution fit for the required job function.
• At least 5-6 years of proven industrial and preferably in the waste management, oil, gas or related sectors in a well reputed organization with at least 3 years in supervisory level.
• Strong operations liaison for the past 3-4 years.
