Job Purpose:
To ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards across rooftop solar installation activities, ensuring safe execution of all site operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and monitor HSE policies on rooftop solar project sites
Conduct risk assessments and job hazard analysis (JHA)
Ensure strict compliance with work at height safety standards
Monitor electrical safety during solar panel installation and wiring
Conduct daily toolbox talks and safety inductions
Ensure proper use of PPE at all times
Inspect scaffolding, ladders, and fall protection systems
Enforce Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems
Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses
Prepare HSE reports and corrective action plans
Coordinate with project teams and client HSE representatives
Requirements:
Diploma / Bachelor’s in Occupational Health & Safety or related field
NEBOSH / IOSH certification preferred
3–5 years HSE experience in construction / MEP / solar projects
Strong knowledge of rooftop and electrical safety standards
Good reporting and communication skills
