General Manager — Contract Logistics | Dubai, UAE (Relocation Supported)

Salary: up to AED 60,000/month

A leading American logistics company is hiring a General Manager to lead and scale its Contract Logistics operation in Dubai. This is a senior P&L role with full accountability for operational performance, customer delivery, people leadership, and profitable growth across multi-site warehousing and value-added logistics.

What you’ll be responsible for

• Full P&L ownership for the Contract Logistics business: revenue, gross margin, cost control, and budget delivery
• Lead day-to-day operations across warehousing/fulfilment and value-added services (inbound, outbound, inventory, kitting, labeling, returns, rework)
• Own service delivery against SLAs/KPIs (OTIF, productivity, accuracy, damage, HSE, cost per unit)
• Drive continuous improvement and productivity through Lean/CI programmes and strong operational cadence
• Lead customer relationships at senior level: QBRs, escalations, renewals, and expansion opportunities
• Build a high-performance culture: structure, accountability, workforce planning, leadership development, succession
• Ensure compliance across HSE, security, quality, and local regulatory requirements
• Partner with Commercial and Solutions teams on tenders, pricing inputs, and mobilisation of new contracts/sites
• Lead contract mobilisations, transitions, and change management with minimal disruption to customers

What we’re looking for

• Proven senior leadership experience in Contract Logistics / 3PL warehousing (GM / Ops Director / Site Director leading multi-site or large-scale operations)
• Strong P&L ownership and commercial acumen (margin management, cost-to-serve, productivity levers)
• Track record delivering measurable KPI improvements in high-volume warehouse environments
• Strong customer management experience with enterprise accounts and SLA-driven contracts
• Confident leader of large teams (operations leadership layers + workforce), with a structured, hands-on style
• Strong understanding of WMS-driven operations and operational reporting/forecasting
• Middle East experience is a plus, but not required — open to relocation for the right candidate

Skills

The ideal candidate is a senior contract logistics leader with proven end-to-end P&L ownership and a track record of running large, SLA-driven 3PL warehousing operations at scale. They combine strong commercial judgement with operational depth, understanding cost-to-serve, margin protection, productivity levers, and what it takes to mobilise and stabilise new contracts without service disruption. They are highly KPI-driven, able to build a performance cadence around OTIF, inventory accuracy, productivity, quality, and HSE, and can translate data into clear actions that improve service and reduce cost. They bring confident customer leadership, capable of managing enterprise relationships, leading QBRs, handling escalations, and securing renewals and expansions through consistent delivery. They are an effective people leader who can build structure, develop leadership layers, and create a culture of accountability across large, multi-shift teams. They are comfortable operating in WMS-enabled environments, partnering with solutions and commercial teams on tenders and pricing inputs, and working across cross-functional stakeholders to deliver profitable growth. Open-minded, adaptable, and relocation-ready, they can step into a Dubai-based role and quickly build credibility with both customers and internal teams.
