A successful Senior Mechanical Design Engineer should have: * Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. * 12+ years of experience in mechanical design engineering, with a focus on building systems. * At least 10 years of experience working on healthcare projects * Minimum of 5 years of experience within a consulting engineering environment * Proven track record of leading the design and delivery of complex mechanical systems in healthcare facilities. * Experience in design of firefighting, HVAC, Plumbing, Storm Water, Irrigation, Firefighting Treatment plants, Medical Gas system, LPG from concept to final design - specifically for healthcare and laboratories facilities * Experience of working in the healthcare sector * Fully aware of local regulations of Emirates of Abu Dhabi (e.g. ADDC, ADWEA, ADSCC, SEHA, HAAD, etc.) * Professional certifications, such as Professional Engineer (PE), PQP, LEED AP, CEng or Certified Project Manager (CPM), are highly desirable.
