Responsibilities Evaluate and assess patients to determine appropriate surgical interventions Perform a broad range of general surgery procedures with expertise and precision Manage pre-operative and post-operative patient care, ensuring optimal recovery Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans Provide clear communication and education to patients and families regarding surgeries and recovery processes Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and keep updated with latest surgical advancements Maintain detailed and accurate medical records Private Health Insurance Paid Time Off Training & Development Performance Bonus Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution Completion of General Surgery residency training Board certification or equivalent credential in General Surgery Minimum 5 years of experience as a Consultant General Surgeon Proficiency in a wide range of general surgical procedures Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practices Fluency in English; additional language skills advantageous
