Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings of swimming pools, including structural, mechanical, and electrical layouts, adhering to project specifications and local codes.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to understand project requirements and incorporate design changes effectively.
• Prepare accurate bill of materials (BOM) and cost estimates for swimming pool projects, ensuring all necessary components are accounted for.
• Create and maintain a library of standard pool designs, details, and specifications to streamline the drafting process and ensure consistency.
• Review and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to create accurate and complete pool designs.
• Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions, gather data, and verify the accuracy of drawings, ensuring design feasibility.
• Use CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) to produce precise and visually appealing drawings, incorporating design elements and ensuring clarity.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure that drawings are aligned with product specifications and installation requirements.
• Manage project documentation, including revisions, updates, and archiving of drawings and related documents, maintaining organized records.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and relevant building codes to improve design efficiency and ensure compliance.

• Revise and update drawings based on project changes, client requests, and on-site observations, maintaining accurate and current documentation.
• Review and interpret site surveys, existing conditions, and relevant regulations, ensuring designs comply with local codes and permitting requirements.
• Coordinate with other design professionals, such as landscape architects, to integrate pool designs seamlessly with the surrounding environment.
• Utilize CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) proficiently to produce high-quality drawings and models, demonstrating strong technical proficiency.
• Conduct site visits to observe construction progress, verify design implementation, and resolve any discrepancies between drawings and actual construction.
