This Full-Time role is crucial for ensuring the timely and safe delivery of goods, playing a key part in our supply chain operations across the UAE.
Responsibilities
* Safely operate company vehicles to transport and deliver goods to various destinations as per the schedule.
* Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries, considering traffic and weather conditions.
* Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate the delivery vehicle with the utmost care.
* Ensure all delivery documentation is completed accurately and submitted promptly.
* Adhere strictly to all UAE traffic laws and company safety regulations.
* Maintain the vehicle in a clean and presentable condition, performing routine checks on fuel, oil, and water.
* Report any vehicle defects, accidents, or traffic violations to management immediately.
* Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients during delivery.
Qualifications
* A valid UAE driving licence is essential.
* Proven experience working as a professional driver in the UAE.
* A clean driving record with no history of major traffic violations.
* Excellent knowledge of roads and routes within Sharjah and other Emirates.
* Ability to operate and navigate using GPS and other routing systems.
* Strong commitment to safety and professionalism.
* Good communication skills and a courteous demeanour.
* Physical fitness to handle loading and unloading of goods where required.
