Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of advanced welding procedures and specifications to ensure structural integrity and code compliance for complex projects.
  • Oversee welding quality control, conducting rigorous inspections and non-destructive testing (NDT) to identify and rectify potential defects before they impact project timelines.
  • Collaborate with design and engineering teams to provide expert input on weldability, material selection, and joint design, optimizing for manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve critical welding issues in real-time, minimizing downtime and preventing costly rework on high-stakes projects.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline

  • International Welding Engineer (IWE) Certification – Mandatory

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in Oil & Gas, EPC, Petrochemical, or Industrial projects

  • Strong knowledge of WPS, PQR, Welder Qualification, ASME, AWS, API, and ISO standards

  • Experience in welding engineering, quality compliance, and technical support

  • ADNOC project experience preferred

  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
