Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of advanced welding procedures and specifications to ensure structural integrity and code compliance for complex projects.
- Oversee welding quality control, conducting rigorous inspections and non-destructive testing (NDT) to identify and rectify potential defects before they impact project timelines.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to provide expert input on weldability, material selection, and joint design, optimizing for manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
- Troubleshoot and resolve critical welding issues in real-time, minimizing downtime and preventing costly rework on high-stakes projects.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
International Welding Engineer (IWE) Certification – Mandatory
Minimum 10+ years of experience in Oil & Gas, EPC, Petrochemical, or Industrial projects
Strong knowledge of WPS, PQR, Welder Qualification, ASME, AWS, API, and ISO standards
Experience in welding engineering, quality compliance, and technical support
ADNOC project experience preferred
Excellent communication and coordination skills
