Role Description The Architectural Engineer will support the planning, design, and coordination of building projects from concept through construction. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Fujairah Emirate, United Arab Emirates. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing architectural and engineering drawings, performing technical calculations, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. The role involves coordinating with civil and structural teams, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve design issues and support smooth project execution. The Architectural Engineer will conduct site visits, participate in design and progress meetings, assist with project documentation, and help ensure that quality, safety, and sustainability requirements are met.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Architecture, including building design, space planning, and familiarity with relevant codes and standards. Experience in Civil Engineering and Construction, with the ability to coordinate structural, architectural, and site requirements. Proven Project Management capabilities, including planning, organizing tasks, and supporting delivery within scope, time, and budget. Demonstrated Teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and contractors. Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field. Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., Auto CAD, Revit or similar), and strong technical documentation skills. Knowledge of local building regulations and permitting processes in the United Arab Emirates is preferred. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality.
