Role Description The Operational Excellence Manager is a part-time hybrid role based in Abu Dhabi, with a mix of on-site and work-from-home responsibilities. This role is responsible for analyzing existing operational processes, identifying inefficiencies, and recommending improvements to enhance performance and quality. Day-to-day tasks include mapping and documenting workflows, leading process improvement initiatives, setting performance metrics, and monitoring progress against operational goals. The Operational Excellence Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices, support change management efforts, and provide guidance on continuous improvement methodologies. The role also involves preparing reports, presenting findings to leadership, and ensuring that improvement projects are delivered on time and within scope. Qualifications Strong expertise in Operational Excellence and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to drive efficiency and quality. Proven experience in Business Process Improvement, including process mapping, root cause analysis, and performance optimization. Demonstrated Analytical Skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable recommendations. Solid background in Operations Management, with experience coordinating cross-functional activities and implementing standardized procedures. Project Management skills to plan, prioritize, and execute multiple improvement initiatives, ensuring timely and successful delivery. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, PMP) are an advantage. Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and support teams through change. Experience working in hybrid environments and managing tasks independently with minimal supervision.
