Job Description

Working closely and support nursing staff and other multidisciplinary team to provide the everyday non-clinical needs of the residents and families.

Responsibilities

Patient Care Support Assist patients with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming). Support patient mobility and safe handling techniques. Help with patient activities, social engagement, and external trips. Maintain clean, safe, and well-stocked patient environments. Follow care plans under supervision of nurses/therapists. Communication & Teamwork Communicate clearly with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient care. Contribute positively to a supportive team environment and mentor junior staff. Professional Development Participate in training, self-development, and performance reviews. Maintain skills, knowledge, and professional standards. Quality & Service Improvement Contribute to service improvements, audits, and quality initiatives. Support stock control, administrative tasks, and excellent patient experience. Safety, Compliance & Ethics Follow infection control, occupational health & safety, and emergency protocols. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to policies and UAE regulations. Report incidents and ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Equality & Patient-Centered Care Promote equality, diversity, and respectful care. Uphold high customer service standards and patient-focused care.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Requirements

Certified Nursing Aide / Caregiver (required) Diploma in Nursing (preferred) Valid BLS certification (mandatory) At least 1 year of healthcare experience (preferably long-term care) English fluency required; Arabic preferred
