About the Role:

We're looking for a Legal & Compliance Officer to join our growing team in Dubai. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys commercial legal work, AML compliance, and working directly with clients. You'll be involved in drafting legal documentation, advising on corporate matters, and supporting businesses across multiple UAE jurisdictions in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts (employment, NDAs, partnerships, leases, asset transfers).
• Provide legal advice and identify legal risks.
• Support corporate matters across UAE jurisdictions (Mainland, DIFC, ADGM).
• Prepare AML manuals, KYC policies, and compliance documentation.
• Review client KYC files and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Monitor UAE regulatory updates.
• Prepare compliance articles and educational content for the company website and LinkedIn.

Requirements:

• Law degree.
• Strong knowledge of UAE commercial law and AML/CFT regulations.
• Excellent legal drafting and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail.

Technical Skills:

• Advanced Microsoft Word (Track Changes, templates, formatting)
• PDF editing and document management
• Google Workspace
• Comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude to assist with legal research and drafting (while exercising independent legal judgment)
