Role Description The Product Specialist role at TCS LLC UAE is a part-time, hybrid position based in Dubai, with a mix of on-site work at customer locations and office, and some work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting product-related inquiries for turbine and plant maintenance solutions, providing technical and commercial information to customers, and assisting sales teams in identifying suitable services for client needs. The Product Specialist analyzes customer requirements, prepares basic proposals or quotations in coordination with engineering and sales, and helps maintain accurate product and service documentation. The role involves collaborating with operations and engineering teams to ensure customer satisfaction, handling follow-up communication, and contributing to continuous improvement of product offerings and customer service processes. Qualifications Product specialization skills, including experience as a Product Specialist or in a similar technical or service-focused role. Strong analytical skills for understanding customer requirements, comparing technical options, and supporting data-based decisions. Effective communication skills for clear written and verbal interaction with customers, internal teams, and external partners. Customer service skills to handle inquiries, resolve issues, and build long-term, trust-based relationships. Sales-related skills, such as supporting sales cycles, identifying opportunities, and contributing to proposals and presentations. Background in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering, or relevant technical discipline (diploma or degree preferred). Knowledge of power generation or oil & gas equipment (e.g., turbines, generators, compressors) is an advantage. Ability to work independently in a hybrid setting, manage time effectively, and coordinate with cross-functional teams. Proficiency in common office software and basic CRM or ERP tools; familiarity with technical documentation standards is beneficial. Professional fluency in English; additional language skills used in the UAE market are a plus.
