The Role We are seeking an experienced Bioinformatics Manager to lead bioinformatics strategy, computational biology initiatives, and data-driven research programs. The ideal candidate will oversee analysis pipelines, manage bioinformatics teams, integrate multi-omics data, and collaborate with scientific and clinical stakeholders to support research and innovation objectives.???? Key Responsibilities• Develop and execute bioinformatics strategies aligned with research goals, scientific objectives, and organizational innovation priorities• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of bioinformatics pipelines for genomic, transcriptomic, proteomic, and multi-omics data analysis• Collaborate with research scientists, laboratory teams, clinical experts, data engineers, and external academic partners to support interdisciplinary research initiatives• Manage large-scale biological datasets, ensuring data integrity, quality control, storage optimization, and compliance with scientific standards• Oversee statistical analysis, machine learning models, computational biology workflows, and algorithm development for biological data interpretation• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including pipeline performance, data processing accuracy, research output quality, computational efficiency, and project delivery timelines• Integrate bioinformatics tools, cloud computing platforms, databases, and high-performance computing (HPC) systems to support scalable research operations• Ensure compliance with ethical standards, data governance policies, laboratory regulations, and research integrity requirements• Interpret genomic and biological data to generate actionable insights that support drug discovery, diagnostics, precision medicine, or biological research initiatives• Evaluate emerging technologies in genomics, computational biology, AI-driven bioinformatics, and systems biology to enhance research capabilities• Prepare scientific reports, research publications, technical documentation, data visualizations, and executive summaries for internal and external stakeholders• Lead, mentor, and develop bioinformaticians, data scientists, research analysts, and computational biology teams while fostering a culture of scientific rigor, collaboration, and continuous innovation✅ Requirements• Bachelor's degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Data Science, Biology, or a related field• Master's degree or PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genomics, or related scientific discipline is highly advantageous• 7+ years of experience in bioinformatics, computational biology, genomics data analysis, or related research fields• 3+ years of experience leading bioinformatics teams, scientific projects, or computational research initiatives preferred• Strong understanding of genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, sequence analysis, statistical genetics, and systems biology• Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or Perl, and familiarity with bioinformatics tools and pipelines (e.g., BLAST, GATK, Bioconductor, Galaxy)• Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), HPC environments, and biological databases (NCBI, Ensembl, Uni Prot)• Familiarity with machine learning applications in biology, AI-driven drug discovery, and multi-omics integration is advantageous• Strong analytical, computational, research, and problem-solving skills• Excellent communication, scientific writing, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration abilities• Ability to translate complex biological data into meaningful scientific and business insights• Ability to work independently in remote research environments????
