Job description

Duties:

• Lead the development, implementation, and continual improvement of the company's Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental management systems.
• Ensure full compliance with UAE legislation, client requirements, and international standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
• Conduct audits, inspections, and performance reviews across projects and offices, implementing corrective and preventive actions where required.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, producing detailed reports and recommendations to prevent recurrence.
• Provide leadership, training, and guidance to project teams, promoting a proactive and positive safety culture throughout the organisation.
• Monitor QHSE performance metrics, prepare management reports, and support senior leadership in achieving strategic QHSE objectives.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years' QHSE experience within the construction industry, including at least 5 years in a management position with a Tier 1 major contractor.
• Strong working knowledge of UAE construction regulations, health and safety legislation, and industry best practices.
• Professional certifications such as NEBOSH Diploma, Lead Auditor certifications, IOSH, or equivalent qualifications.
• Proven experience implementing and managing integrated management systems aligned to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence teams at all levels of the organisation.
