Job description
Our client, a tier 1 contractor based in Dubai specialising in fitout and build projects. They are seeking an experienced Planning Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing project schedules, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure successful delivery of complex construction and fitout initiatives across their portfolio.
Duties:
- Manage project planning, scheduling, and resource coordination for large-scale fitout and build projects
- Work with senior leadership and site teams to ensure projects stay on track and within scope
- Permanent position based in Dubai with exposure to high-profile tier 1 construction work
Preferred Requirements - Proven experience as a Planning Manager or similar role within construction, fitout, or build environments
- Strong proficiency with project planning software and scheduling tools
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise effectively
- Excellent communication skills and experience liaising with contractors, clients, and internal stakeholders
- Knowledge of construction methodologies, timelines, and resource management best practices
Preferred Qualifications - Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline
- Professional certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management qualification
- Previous experience working on tier 1 projects or in the UAE construction sector
