Job Title: Joinery Draftsman
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed joinery shop drawings based on approved architectural and interior design drawings.
Develop production drawings for furniture, wardrobes, kitchens, doors, wall cladding, vanity units, and other custom joinery items.
Prepare material cutting lists, BOM (Bill of Materials), and production details.
Coordinate with the Technical Office, Production, Procurement, and Site teams to ensure drawings meet project requirements.
Review project specifications and identify any discrepancies before production.
Revise drawings according to consultant, client, or site comments.
Coordinate with site engineers to verify dimensions and incorporate site measurements into shop drawings.
Ensure all drawings comply with project standards, company procedures, and quality requirements.
Issue drawings according to the project schedule and maintain proper drawing revisions.
Support production by providing technical clarifications whenever required.
Desired Candidate Profile
Diploma or bachelor's degree in engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in joinery or furniture drafting.
Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
Experience with SketchUp, SolidWorks, or similar 3D software is an advantage.
Good understanding of joinery construction details, woodworking materials, hardware, and manufacturing processes.
Ability to read architectural and interior design drawings.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
