Senior Forward Deployed Engineer Location: Abu Dhabi (Full-time, On-site)
About the Role We're looking for a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to join a growing engineering team supporting a large-scale, mission-critical technology platform. This role combines Backend Engineering, Production Support, SRE, and Dev Ops, with a strong focus on solving complex production issues, delivering customer-specific enhancements, and acting as the technical bridge between customers and the product engineering team.
Key Responsibilities Investigate and resolve complex production incidents through debugging, root cause analysis, and code fixes. Develop backend features, customizations, automation scripts, and hotfixes. Monitor and optimize production systems in Kubernetes environments. Own technical issues end-to-end, coordinating with cross-functional engineering teams. Work directly with customer stakeholders to provide technical guidance and support.
Requirements5+ years of backend engineering experience in production environments. Strong hands-on experience with Node.js, Mongo DB, and Kubernetes. Exposure to SRE, Dev Ops, Platform Engineering, or Tier 3 Production Support. Experience troubleshooting live systems and leading technical investigations. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work directly with enterprise customers. Self-driven, hands-on engineer who thrives in fast-paced, high-ownership environments.
