Job description
Position Summary
 The Computer Information Science (CIS) Lab Assistant supports faculty and students within one or more CIS program areas by maintaining the college's laboratories and workshops. The incumbent's scope of work includes the installation, demonstration, maintenance and trouble-shooting of equipment and facilities. This is a hands-on role which will have the Lab Assistant working closely with faculty and students with the laboratory. The CIS Lab Assistant sets up the lab in preparation for experiments and practical activities.
Requirements
 ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Higher Diploma and 3 years relevant experience
Preferred Bachelor Degree with 2 years of relevant experience
A Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or other relevant with at least 3 years of relevant experience is required.
A Master's Degree in a relevant discipline is preferred
Current industry certifications such as Microsoft, Cisco, Security/Networking, Server, and/or Hardware certifications are preferred

 يدعم مساعد مختبر علوم علوم الحاسوب والمعلومات (CIS) أعضاء هيئة التدريس والطلاب ضمن واحد أو أكثر من مجالات برنامج CIS من خلال صيانة مختبرات الجامعة وورش العمل. يشمل نطاق عمل القائم بالمهمة تركيب المعدات وتوضيحها وصيانتها واستكشاف الأخطاء والمشكلات في المعدات والمرافق. هذا دور عملي يتطلب تعاون مساعد المختبر بشكل وثيق مع أعضاء هيئة التدريس والطلاب في المختبر. يقوم مساعد مختبر CIS بإعداد المختبر تمهيداً للتجارب والأنشطة التطبيقية.
المتطلبات
 المؤهلات الأكاديمية
حد أدنى دبلوم عليا و3 سنوات خبرة ذات صلة
يفضل درجة البكالوريوس مع خبرة ذات صلة لمدة سنتين
يتطلب دبلوم في علوم الحاسوب أو تكنولوجيا المعلومات أو الهندسة أو ما يعادلها مع خبرة ذات صلة لا تقل عن 3 سنوات
يفضل درجة ماجستير في تخصص ذو صلة
شهادات صناعية حالية مثل مايكروسوفت، سيسكو، الأمن/الشبكات، الخادم، و/أو شهادات الأجهزة محبذة
