Roles & Responsibilities
The Air Products Manager will be responsible for managing airline relationships, negotiating commercial agreements, developing airfare products, optimizing airline sales performance, and ensuring competitive market positioning for Premier by Brightsun.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience within the airline, consolidator, GSA, OTA, or travel agency sector and a deep understanding of airline pricing, fare structures, and distribution channels.
Develop and manage relationships with airlines, consolidators, and industry partners.
Negotiate airline fare agreements, incentives, commissions, and special fare contracts.
Identify new airline partnerships and revenue opportunities.
Monitor airline sales performance and profitability.
Analyse market trends, competitor pricing, and airline promotions.
Develop and implement airline product strategies to maximize revenue and market share.
Coordinate with sales, reservations, and marketing teams to promote airline products.
Manage airline contract compliance and reporting requirements.
Support corporate and travel trade sales teams with competitive airfare solutions.
Prepare regular management reports on airline performance and commercial results.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum 5 years of experience in airline sales, airline contracting, air product management, or commercial travel operations.
Strong knowledge of airline fare construction, ticketing, pricing, and distribution.
Experience negotiating directly with airlines and industry suppliers.
Understanding of BSP, NDC, GDS, and airline distribution models.
Strong analytical and commercial skills.
Excellent negotiation and relationship management abilities.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
Excellent communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualification:
Experience working for a travel management company, OTA, consolidator, airline, or wholesale travel business.
Knowledge of Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre, or other GDS platforms.
Existing airline industry relationships within the UAE and GCC markets.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Tourism, Aviation, or a related field.
