Roles & Responsibilities

1. Design LV switchgear and control panels using EPLAN Electric P8.

2. Prepare electrical schematics, single-line diagrams (SLD), multi-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, and control circuit drawings.

3. Develop panel layout drawings, cable schedules, terminal plans, and bill of materials (BOM).

4. Prepare manufacturing and fabrication drawings for production.

5. Ensure designs comply with IEC standards, client specifications, and project requirements.

6. Review customer specifications and technical documents before design.

7. Coordinate with estimation, project, procurement, and production teams.

8. Select appropriate electrical components such as MCCBs, ACBs, contactors, relays, VFDs, meters, CTs, and busbar systems.

9. Optimize panel layouts for efficient manufacturing and wiring.

10. Support the production team during panel assembly and testing.

11. Revise drawings based on client comments and project changes.

12. Maintain proper document control and revision history.

13. Provide technical support during FAT, SAT, and commissioning when required.

14. Ensure timely completion of design deliverables within project schedules.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.

• 2–5 years of experience in EPLAN design for LV Switchgear Panels.

• Experience in electrical panel manufacturing is mandatory.

• Proficient in EPLAN Electric P8.

• Knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.

• Strong understanding of:

  • LV Switchgear Panels

  • MDB, SMDB, MCC, PCC, Capacitor Bank, ATS, Synchronization Panels

  • Motor Control Circuits

  • Power Distribution Systems

  • IEC Standards

  • Electrical Protection and Control Systems

• Ability to prepare:

  • Single Line Diagrams (SLD)

  • General Arrangement (GA) Drawings

  • Wiring Diagrams

  • Terminal Plans

  • Cable Schedules

  • Bill of Materials (BOM)
